Gameplay of the PlayStation 4 version of Jak II on a PlayStation 5, installed on an External HDD.

Like Jak and Daxter, the Ps4 emulated version of Jak II isn’t the most ideal way to play this game, one reason why across the entire trilogy is because the analog controls only go 8 directions rather than a fully in a circle.

If you notice any crackling audio in the video, that’s not my system or the recording, that’s the actual game audio, that’s just how it is on the emulated Ps4 release of Jak II.

If you have a PlayStation 2 then I suggest picking up the original games if you don’t have them for the system already, or if you have a PlayStation 3 grab the Jak and Daxter Collection, the latter has a rare Punch Glitch but it’s not a deal breaker as it’s a rare bug.

This game is often said to be the hardest game in the trilogy, that is true but personally I don't think it's a super hard game at all, in fact this is my favorite game in the trilogy and I look forward to doing a playthrough of this one for the channel.
