Jak II: Playthrough Part 15: This WAS a Drill
7I tried changing how I recorded my videos for the rest of this playthrough. The framerate should be more consistent and less blurry, and the videos should be a bit more colorful.
After escorting the nameless kid and his Croca-dog pet to Kor at the Power Station, the old man gets the Dark Eco Duo their next mission. They are to go to The Dig and take down Baron Praxis excavation operation there, as he is using a gigantic drill for his hunt for the hidden Tomb of Mar.
The kid gives Jak an Air Train pass to help him reach the area the Dig is located in. The Air Train itself is in the South Town/Port area of Haven City. It's a big red truck that should also be its own map icon.

Before I actually venture into the dig, you can search around and find the path, including a small cave, that leads back to the Pumping Station. It looks like the only way you can reach the Air Train spot from the Pumping Station is to grinding on the rails with the Jetboard to reach it. Fall into the water below those rails, and you'll just be far away enough to get blasted by a security robot.

After that tomfoolery, I finally go through the Dig through a big elevator going down. To take down the giant drill you see in the area, use the Jetboard and grind through all of the scafoldings that hold the drill in place. This area is infested with Krimzon Guards and explosive Eco barrels, so watch out for all of that, too.
Once all of the scaffoldings are gone, the drill won't be able to hold itself together, it starts spinning out of control, and then it explodes!
Kor is impressed with Jak & Daxter's work, and is hopeful that together, they'll be able to take Haven City from Praxis' control.
