Jak II: Playthrough Part 14: Escorting the Kid and the Croca-dog
Once you've returned to the Underground, this time, the Young Samos will be outside, along with the kid, and his apparent pet, the Croca-dog, a crocodile-dog hybrid.
Kor has already moved to Vin's Power Station, and Samos needs Jak & Daxter to take the kid and his pet there, next. He's too busy to do it, himself.
It is once again brought up that this little kid is the true heir and ruler of Haven City, and the hint of this is his amulet around his neck, which is the Seal of Mar, Haven City's original founder.

This escort mission feels special compared to the others, because this is one of the only cases in the entire game where you get to hear Jak talk OUTSIDE of cutscenes and cinematics.
You can tell from a lot of his lines that he really wants to make sure that that kid is brought to the Power Station in one piece, and he is NOT gonna let any Krimzon Guards stop them from doing that.
Meanwhile, it seems like Daxter's more concerned with the Croca-dog...
The truth is, this mission fails if you take too long to attack the guards that hold the kid under arrest by making him raise his arms, just like in the first guard fight when he was outside with Kor. However, some of the guards' dialogue seems to imply that they will outright kill the boy (though other lines don't). Of course Jak is gonna get pissed over this!
Damn the recording that happens at 0:48! The guards set off the alarm seconds after the mission starts, and this skip missed some dialogue that happens with that. More skips happen throughout this video, so I apologize for any inconvenices with that.

You have to make a long walk over to a marked 2-seater Zoomer while fending off guards. You just can't just grand theft auto a passerby. Make sure both the kid and the croca-dog are in the Zoomer, then head to the marked spot near the Power Station.
Once you've done that, make your climb up the higher road into the Power Station, though you'll have to fight away more Krimzon Guards, which means more oppotunities to hear Jak's protective drive for the kid.
Even when you're right at the marked spot, you have to kill the remaining guards that are after you before the mission completes.

The Croca-dog didn't take to Kor very well, but he did love Jak, despite the only person the pet ever loved was the kid, himself. Hmmm...
Kor was in the wasteland and was impressed by the sight of the Metal Heads that he found there, though he didn't like Daxter's comment on the massive one he and his friends saw from a Rift Gate...
ANYWAY! Kor's next mission for Jak & Daxter is to go to the Dig and shut down Baron Praxis's tomb excavation operation.
