Jam Jam Hype!? (Genesis Remix) - Go! Go! Hypergrind
137The main theme (and 2nd stage BGM) of Go! Go! Hypergrind, "Jam Jam Hype!?" but sounding very Sega Genesis. The lyrics are not official and mostly what I heard and what some other people have heard.
Released in 2003, this was a unique collaboration between Atlus (to be specific, Team Poponchi) and the Ren & Stimpy crew. This was the only game Team Poponchi would create though, and despite it being developed in Japan, it was never released there. Additionally, there's no voice credits in the game, but Vert (the big grey tiger man) sounds an awful lot like a Mr. Steve Blum.
GRIZZLY, the band behind Jam Jam Hype!?, would sadly break up shortly after the game came out due to problems with the band's agency, only having done a small handful of songs. Rin Kozue/Friedia, the band's lead vocalist, has a video talking about her time with GRIZZLY. Here's hoping one day she can hype it all up once again (jam it hype it up!).
