Today we take a look at another zombie survival game. Jaws of Extinction promises a survival experience in a very harsh world and setting with hardcore gameplay elements. That means you are more likely to fail than succeed and a slower and more methodical playstyle is preferred. The world is quite pretty and though the game can be a bit overwhelming in the beginning with its many mechanics, it is quite an enjoyable survival game where exploration is fulfilling, and a sense of wander is present. The only thing that really holds this title back at the moment is the optimization. This game runs really poorly even on higher systems. There is constant stuttering and slowdown, and it makes the overall experience much less enjoyable than it could have been. The potential is there, and the game is beautifully detailed, but hopefully the overall experience will be better in a year or so when the optimization has been smoothed out.
