Jazzpunk Part 9: An Internet Joke.
1First, a guide on April Fool's for the internet:
"If you have something serious to say on the first of the forth, don't. Postpone to tomorrow or do it yesterday."
"As said before, anything 'serious' on April Fools is probably a joke, unless specifically specified otherwise."
"If you say 'I'm serious, no jokes' and later say 'April Fools', you've ruined your credibility and are a complete asshole, so prepare for heavy backlash."
"If you want to make a joke, make sure:
It doesn't obstruct the service you provide.
People can skip out on it, in case their mother died or something.
It's not insensitive.
It's creative and silly.
You aren't mocking your audience.
Don't do stupid shit if your audience isn't below the age of 18.
Remember that epilepsy is a thing.
Just don't do it unless it's a really good joke.
You're SUPER CLEAR that it IS a joke.
Seriously, the Internet is bad at jokes, get over it."

And just like the internet, it's mostly dumb boring stuff we saw before that clutters up a few diamonds.
Then again, the real internet has a lot more fucking piece of shit cats, retarded aping memes and smug jackasses.
The trolls are fine, those are inescapable, but boy do the non-trolls try their best to be super troll-ey in a different way.
Not to mention many idiots think that text can properly convey jokes, timing or sarcasm without excessive explanation, as to Poe's Law. Truth be told, there's good stuff, but deep down, anyone who works in the IT business is deeply disappointed in the disproportionate amount of skull-fucked stupid there is in the world.
And they should know, since they have to look at your rancid shit of an 'opinion' or sad display of 'comedy' all day long. Hell is not the Internet, but working in the gears that keep it chugging along.
Thank God for Jim Sterling, and also the process of automation.
This one's for the brave men and women that keep Google, YouTube and so on alive. You're in the modern trenches, and it's a lot less pleasant than we thought it would be.
