Welcome to Club JBL, the temporary Berlin base for JBL’s latest batch of audio launches.
The star unveiling was a set of 70s-styled speakers from JBL’s Authentics series. Taking inspiration from JBL’s classic L100, the Authentics’ leather-wrapped, aluminium frames look incredibly attractive for those after a retro look.
There are three models on offer: At £300 the Authentics 200 is the most affordable of the bunch. The Authentics 300 houses a rechargeable battery and will set you back £380. The Authentics 500 is the most premium offering and includes Dolby Atmos support.
All three support AirPlay 2, Spotify Connect and Chromecast. Interestingly, they also offer simultaneous integration for both Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant - a first for a smart speaker.
All three models will be available to purchase from September 15th
