I was watching flamingokai's video on the Jecht exploit and wanted to post an easier method of abusing Exdeath rather than waiting to counter his HP attacks and waiting for an opening.

This method is done with Jecht's first HP air HP attack so it can be done straight from level 1 and can be used until you get the meteor skill (not sure of the name).

Basically Exdeath will 99% of the time shoot the teleporting ring at you if you activate an HP attack while he isn't doing anything. If he's in the middle of a recovery from an attack then wait till he's done.

What you want to do is have Exdeath be on the floor and start charging Jecht's air HP attack as close to the ground as possible. Right when the ring is about to get to your release, rinse and repeat. You can use this method from level 1 until you get the meteor skill which makes things a lot easier.
