Jeeves and Wooster Animation Test
I did this over Christmas Break way back in 2006 and then sorta forgot about it until recently, when I stumbled across it transferring files from my old laptop to the new Macbook.
This was an animation test for Premiere Elements, using audio from the Jeeves and Wooster soundtrack. The sprites were hand-drawn and then scanned and colored in Photoshop and used in title overlays in Premiere. This was my first time experimenting with this sort of animation, so a lot of lessons were learned. For instance, it wasn't until about a third of the way through that it occurred to me that instead of saving the sprites as JPEGs and keying out the background colors before importing to Premiere, I could have just saved as PSDs with transparent backgrounds.
Also, I learned I really suck at drawing hands. Like, more than I suck at drawing everything else.
And my Jeeves looks like Sir Topham Hatt. Ah, well, live and learn.
