Finally checking out Code Vein (aka Anime Souls). I didn't know much about the game besides seeing some minor pre-release gameplay a LONG while ago, so there was a lot to get familiar with. While the game overall plays similar to Souls, it certainly feels closer to a more typical action RPG or character action game at times.

Lots of time spent in the character creator as can be expected - and of course I naturally gravitated towards a caster build.
