Jerp plays MindSeize [Alpha Demo] (2019-09-19)
5This upcoming Sci-fi Metroidvania's looking great so far - but it could use your help! MindSeize is currently a little over half-way funded, but there's only about a week left (ending Sep 27th).
The basic premise is that you play as a private investigator who was severely injured after a run-in with a criminal organization known as "The Ascended", who also stole the mind of his daughter. He then connects his consciousness to a robot body to continue the hunt.

I've been following this game for a while on Twitter and there's been regular posts showing off gameplay w/lots of great animations. I wish I had known that there already was a demo available as I'd have posted a video much sooner.

Controls are surprisingly responsive and I really enjoyed it. Even the limited demo area looked great and was fun to explore. Once it was over, my sole thought was I wanted to dive back in and get lost in the game for a while - so hopefully it actually gets funded.
