Jerp plays Zelda: Breath of the Wild pt.5 (2017-11-24)
0After getting situated in Rito Village, I quickly made my way up to my first Divine Beast - though I was ill-equipped and forced to leave. I wanted to avoid fast traveling for the entirety of the run, but I couldn’t figure out how to leave otherwise (with the terrain visible below, you’d think I could glide down!).
Later on we meet and are serenaded by a certain musical fellow and begin the first of many puzzles that follow (hey, it practically rhymes, let’s go with that!).
After some hefty health upgrades and getting what I need to stay warm, we’re back to Vah Medoh to take care of business. Even though they’re a bit on the empty side, it’s still really cool to be able to enter these giant hulking mechs and have that serve as the game’s dungeons. I’m glad I did this Divine Beast first, as the ability you get significantly improves movement and exploration through the entire rest of the game.
Had my first Lynel Encounter and promptly got dunked - but they later became my overall favorite enemy to fight.
