Push full throttle, land on a carrier at ~1150 km/h, catch the brake cables with a hook but keep on flying, retract the hook at the very moment the cables slow the aircraft down to stall speed, recover and fly away.


It is possible, obviously, but requires near-perfect elevation control at the approach. From the touchdown point onward the only remaining to do is to keep an eye on the speedometer and retract the hook once the speed gets dangerously low.
