Jitsu Squad - No Death Run - Master Difficulty - Aros - Ver. 1.000.003
This game is actually insane!
Jitsu Squad is one of the most hardcore beat'em ups I've ever played. I don't know about the previous versions, but the current one is ridiculously hard. I have a suspicion they didn't test it properly and just released it like that.
To say this game is demanding is an understatement. This is probably the most punishing game I've played, probably ever. A single tiny mistake, or a miscalculated parry, or a slight step in the wrong direction can cost your life. Jitsu Squad doesn't have invulnerablity when you get hit. Instead, you have a hyper armor that can withstand like 4 hits before enemies start juggling you until you die, simple as that. You can kind of get away from that, but it makes the situation even worse, because the recovery animation is uncancellable and they will start juggling you again during said animation. The better outcome is to just take it like a man and hope to fall down on the ground, enemies can't hit you there. I really don't know if the whole thing is intentional, sure seems like it, though. Did these devs even tested how this game plays on Master difficulty?
As far as I know, this is the only no death run on Master difficulty on this version with Aros. Haven't found any others on YouTube. There are some no death runs with Baby, but she is easy mode, imo. She just shoots projectiles from a distance and kills everyone before they can even touch her.
Aros is the slowest character. Probably intended as the bulky tanky one, however, on Master nothing really matters, you are dead in seconds regardless of your character (excluding Baby) if you don't utilize absolutely every little trick you know.
Bosses are brutal. They require extensive knowledge of all their attacks and parry timings, otherwise, you guessed it, you are dead in seconds. Just for the record, I made this run on my 115th hour. Probably had over 60 attempts.
With all being said, this game is truly unique. It reminds me of Guardian Heroes (my favourite beat'em up) a bit, with its "either you destroy the game, or the game destroys you" philosophy. Love those kind of games...after an extensive training, of course.
