In the parts of Caves of Qud that we have played the quests seem to fall into a pretty basic pattern. Go visit place. Go get thing. Go desecrate statue. There are some that go into a bit more depth though, like the Bey Lah mystery. Obviously a quest that complex can't be procedurally generated, but I wish there were more of that kind of thing in the game. And what's worse some of the quests that aren't so simple like What's Eating the Watervine? or Argyve's series of fetch quests only occur when you spawn in Joppa. Maybe spread the love around to the random villages.
Anyway, this week, we find a special hand grenade.
