Could it be? Could Johnny Depp be hanging up his acting hat for good? Well, it's a very sad possibility my friends. Depp spoke with the BBC on Monday to promote the UK release of "The Lone Ranger," and it sounds like the star has seriously considered it. He said quote "Are there quieter things I wouldn't mind doing? Yeah, I wouldn't mind that," he said. "I wouldn't say I am dropping out any second, but I would say it's probably not too far away." Now, this isn't the first time we have heard Depp drop some hints that he was considering retirement. In a recent interview with Rolling Stone he said that thoughts of retiring pop up every day and that he really wants to focus on living his life. He also said that he spends a lot of his life saying other people's dialogue that one day you realize quote "you've said written words more than you've actually had a chance to say your own words, you start thinking about that as kind of an insane option for a human being." Now, before the internet implodes, "not too far away" is still very vague, and the actor still has a ton of other projects in the pipeline which include Wally Pfister's Trancendance, the highly talked about film adaptation of Into The Woods, as well as the film adaptation of the popular crime thriller books called Mortdecai. And let's not forget, he will also be back as Captain Jack Sparrow in the 5th installment of the Pirates of the Caribbean set for July 15th, 2015. So, Depp is gonna be busy for a while, but he did say quote "I can't say I'd be wanting to do this for another 10 years." So, does this come as a shock to anyone?
