Johnny Thunder and the Revenge of the Aztec Queen was a water stunt show held at LEGO City Harbour in LEGOLAND Windsor in 2008-2009, created by Patrick Roberge Productions, Inc. and SGA Productions. It follows the previous Escape from Dragon Tower in 2004-2005 and Secret of Scorpion Palace in 2006-2007. For Secret of Scorpion Palace, see here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hzwJHcTn7Vc

Compared to Secret of Scorpion Palace, Revenge of the Aztec Queen has even less to do with the original LEGO Adventurers toyline. The only canonical element is Johnny Thunder, although the Aztec setting is vaguely reminiscent of the 1999 Amazon Jungle subtheme.

You'll surely notice some recurring tropes from Secret of Scorpion Palace. There's a lead female character (played by Lorna Lintern) who provides exposition, there's her mute companion who does more athletics, there's bumbling villainous henchmen with plenty of comedic slapstick, there's Johnny Thunder showing up to save the day about midway through, and the third act is a showdown atop the lighthouse with plenty of people diving into the water below.

As with Secret of Scorpion Palace, Brickipedia's anonymous IP editor apparently made up a summary about Johnny Thunder and Pippin Reed competing with Lord Sam Sinister to claim the Aztec Queen's treasure. I naturally had to correct this. While looking for information online about the show, this was all the footage that I could find, since there doesn't seem to be any complete recording of the show. That's where I got the idea to make a compilation, piecing together the footage as best as I could, to make a single video with everything about the show.

Now, here's the thing. I've never been to LEGOLAND, and I've never seen this show while it was live. Therefore, everything here is based on guesswork extrapolated from the available footage. Fortunately, there is much less guesswork required here than there was for Secret of Scorpion Palace, since the footage covers most of the plot. Still, I'd like to make an updated version of this video someday. If anyone has actually seen the show and wants to correct any mistakes I've made, or if you have any additional footage to provide, please let me know!
