Let's revisit the Johto region from Gen 2 in the world of Pokémon as we participate in the Pokémon Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire Johto Classic online competition! This competition is open only to Pokémon from the first 251 Pokémon in the National Pokédex, excluding the legendary Mewtwo, Mew, Lugia, Ho-Oh, and Celebi. The battle format is single battles, 3 vs. 3, and Mega Stones are prohibited. Pokémon from earlier games that have been transferred up via the Poké Transporter are permitted to participate, which means I'll be bringing some of my battle-hardened Pokémon from my overall adventures into these battles!

My team for the Johto Classic consists of Keaton the Heracross, Eggbert the Togetic, Zapdos, Blaze the Charizard, Sprout the Venusaur, and Sheldon the Blastoise. To learn about their movesets and strategies, check out our team building video for this week here:
