Fortnite's matchmaking has evolved, but bot lobbies still exist — and this trick works flawlessly in 2025. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned XP grinder, this is the cleanest method to farm wins, complete quests, and level up fast.
The key is keeping the party leader’s skill rating low. To do this, create a brand new alt account on another device (or platform like mobile, Switch, or even cloud gaming). Don’t play any matches on it. Just level 1, zero history.
Now, invite your main account to join that party. Make sure the alt is the party leader — that’s how matchmaking picks the lobby type. Then queue up for Duos or Squads with No Fill (or Fill if you want some extra chaos 😄).
Once you’re in the match, have the alt hide somewhere or jump off the Battle Bus and sit AFK — its job is done. Now you’ve got a whole match of low-level bots and players, perfect for:
XP farming
Quick crown wins
Weapon/kill quests
XP glitches (if you're into that)
Be careful not to level up your alt account too fast or get it wins, or the lobbies will get harder. Keep it as a “bot anchor” and you can use this method every day for consistent XP.
