Journey To The Savage Planet Part 4 - Mushroom Hopping In The Itching Fields
Journey To The Savage Planet
Part 4 - Mushroom Hopping In The Itching Fields
In this episode we start with using our fancy grapple hook to climb up the side of a mountain. At the top, we find a new area, with lots of armored pufferbirds, and exploding plants. There's also lava pouring out of an active volcano. At the top of this volcano is our first boss. Cragclaw. A large crab like creature with tendrils that we need to shoot to take it down. Beyond Cragclaw, we find the material needed in order to handle the bomb flowers, and store some of their fruit in our pockets so we can blow things up later. Even further, we finally reach the base of the tower, but can't quite make it over there yet. There is a teleporter nearby, that we go to activate, but then it automatically teleports us to a new area, called the Itching Fields. We might as well be on a whole new planet here, things are so different. But there are some similar enemies, like the jellyfish, and even a new variation, the royal jellyfish, which is red, and a little tougher. We explore the area, and begin climbing up and up, by jumping between tons of mushrooms. Some are even floating in the air, and will collapse if we stand on them too long. We hop along until we reach the top, and find a red grassy area, with more amber clad pufferbirds, and jellyfish. We decide to explore this area more next time, and will leave our exploration here, for now. But first, we saw a teleporter down below we want to activate, so we have options to go to. However, when we go to activate it, it triggers a bunch of enemies to spawn and we have to defeat them before we can use the teleporter. After the unexpected battle, we then decide to take a break, and will pick up here, next time.
