[JP] DFFOO: Blood for the Blood Lily #27 (Dark Bahamut Raid Lufenia+ ft. Full Scions)
Papalymo got his LD, and it adds a whole bunch of Black Mage abilities to it!
Papalymo gets a new stacking framed buff, Enochian. The stack will increase by 1 after any enemy or ally action (including BT Phase!). At 10 stacks, Papalymo will gain 1 Polygot stack and the buff will revert back to 1 stack. Papalymo can also hold a max of 2 Polygot stacks now.
While Papalymo has at least 1 polygot, his Brv+ will now turn into Xenoglossy. This is a ST HP Nuking skill that will not add to the turn count and is instant turn rate. The main downside between Xenoglossy and Foul (his transformed HP+ under the same conditions) is that it does not offer a free skill use.
Both Fire IV and Blizzard IV have more HP Dumps now. Fire IV is still AoE-focused, and Blizzard IV is ST-focused.
His LD Skill is Triplecast into x3 Fire IVs, and finally Despair. This is a purely ST LD Skill with refund inbetween. It will automatically give Papalymo 1 polygot stack and the skill itself will not add to the turn count and is instant turn rate.
————————————
An overall simple but somewhat interesting fight. The Hope Manikin isn’t too dangerous himself, but his buffs on Bahamut will make it obnoxious to shave. Bring a bit of dispel to keep your shaving output high.
Looking at Bahamut, if the Hope manikin is on the right side then he will only buff with Protect. If on the left, then he will buff with Shell. Bahamut will forcibly make the Hope manikin switch sides upon certain HP Thresholds
When Bahamut’s recast is ready, Bahamut will lock his turn, the orb will appear, and gain a red aura. This aura will make him regen a large amount of bravery on your turns.
Cancel the red aura by fulfilling the orb condition, and it will make Bahamut’s recast do absolutely no damage. If you don’t do the orb condition, Bahamut will do Megaflare+ which has very high potency and will also force-break your party.
Bahamut will also fully refill his recast automatically at 79% and 49%.
If you use your summon, Bahamut will heal himself a large amount of HP and counter with Megaflare after the summon phase ends. If you’re summoning, try to kill Bahamut before it ends.
[Increase Condition] Count increases by 10 when doing 2 turns in a row, and dealing 300k HP DMG at once on the second turn (Max: 20)
