[JP] DFFOO: Eden’s Verse - Furor (Ifrit) (Divine Ifrit Lufenia+)
Ifrit arrives with a very fun fight in my opinion. Reductions-wise, Ifrit has the lowest out of all other Lufenia+ bosses, making practically everyone be able to hit brv dmg cap easily. However, to make up for this, Ifrit has a whopping 37 million HP alongside a 1% HP Regen healing him for about 370k, extending the fight drastically.
Both orbs are SURVIVABLE. If the fireball orb goes off, it’s just an AoE HP Attack while reducing the duration of all of Ifrit’s debuffs by 4 turns. If ifrit’s orb goes off, it’s AoE HP + a bunch of framed debuffs. Ifrit does not have a recast bar, and the fireball is unkillable.
The fireball will ALWAYS be spamming an AoE Brv + HP Attack. Ifrit also takes severely reduced HP DMG during a launch.
At 89%, 69%, 49%, 29%, and 9% Ifrit will automatically do Hellfire. Hellfire this time does AoE Insta-break as well as a 2 turn delay. It’s incredibly lethal, and is the main difficult part of the fight to handle. Off-turn damage, dodge, high HP Mitigation, Setzer freeze debuff, and counters will help survive against these thresholds.
Gladio was here to take advantage of the delay, and Shadow was here as main dps and to dodge the threshold attacks. This way, I only have to worry about Y’shtola dying.
When Ifrit’s orb is active, there will be an arena effect active.
This aura reduces your party’s Max HP, iBrv, makes Ifrit immune to all delay, and can even lower your max brv greatly.
After a certain number of turns, your party will automatically be inflicted with fire imperil and Ifrit will gain an HP Regen.
If exactly 4 debuffs are on Ifrit, then the Max HP Down, Max Brv Down, and iBrv down effects will be removed from your party.
When Ifrit’s orb reaches 35, he will lose the aura field and the fireball will get an orb. These two will alternate orb activations.
