This C64 Sunday we play Jumpman the game ranked 66 in our top 100 c64 games as ranked by Lemon 64 on August 31st 2014.
Developed and published by Epix in 1983, Jumpman is platformer with a story that's a little more intricate than the gameplay. You are trying to stop bombs going off in your HQ, (I suppose that may be what you are collecting on each level?) and also restore power to the building foiling the ALIENATORS plans for good. Randy Glover was the man behind this game, taking inspiration from Donkey Kong. All in all it's a good game for the time. Far from perfect but it's definitely worth checking out as it's a classic of the genre.
