I bought these Alesis M1 Active studio monitors knowing one of the internal amps was dead. Took them into an electronics shop and they couldn't save them - so i gutted and resealed the internals and passed the main driver wire through the cabinet to a 2x50w amp - the record player needs the phono pre-amp to be audible.

Next step is to get the turntable setup on a focusrite scarlett 2i2 dac for input and do vinyl sampling for new BMS projects ;)
