We get that she's a kid, but the fact that she has almost no skill or health or anything compared to Joel is just atrocious, and it makes the fights harder than they need to be. As you can see by the bajillion times that Cate dies in this episode. Over, and over, and over again. But hey, at least we've found a lifelong friend in David and his gang.
