Just Cause 3 Any% Speedrun - RTA - Ubuntu 22.04 LTS - 3:22:12
2I have completed my first any% speedrun with Just Cause 3 on Linux using the Ubuntu 22.04 LTS Operating System.
This was supposed to be initially a test to determine if my setup is ready for a production run. During previous testing I was experiencing graphics stutter and control lag because Just Cause 3 and LiveSplit are processes running with Wine Is Not an Emulator (WINE). After making some teaks to OBS, Nvidia driver settings, and OS graphics settings I was able to reduce the symptoms I was observing down to a minimum level.
The goal of this effort was to achieve an overall more stable gaming experience with less OS freeze ups and game crashes.
