Welcome to JW!Underswap! It was only a matter of time, wasn't it. But here I am, with an Underswap take. This is not part of the Alterverse, so expect a slightly different approach to the swapping here.

This replaces "Metal Crusher".

Swaps:

Napstablook with Mettaton! Napstablook is a big music producer in SHADOW'S EDGE, while Mettaton is a "Nobody" similar to his appearance in Deltarune, and also serves as the midboss of the Ruined Capital.

Tenna with Eram. Why is this relevant? Well, Tenna Undertale exists, and it's the TV that you see in Mettaton's house. Meanwhile, we don't know what the heck the real non-game version of Eram is (though it's implied to exist), so I've taken some creative liberties and considered it a Lightner that could exist in Undertale as a character. Eram lived with Napstablook and ended up being just the encouragement needed for Napstablook to make it big on the radio, from which point Napstablook made it to Undyne and things happened from there. Eram still works with Napstablook. Honestly, Underswap is really shaping up to be "the AU of duos that aren't in the original game."

Gaster with Grandpa Semi. Grandpa Semi's theme is reused in Metal Crusher in the original game, so I included a Gaster motif here.
