Kenshi Lone Skeleton Challenge (Modded) I'm so damn squishy! (07.01.20 Stream) Pt.1
3Greetings all of ye!
The day has arrived! New microphone! No more underwater tube boxes and it sounds alot better. Issue is its still a bit quiet, but hopefully i can resolve that problem soon as i'm still messing around with the settings.
Since we played Cataclysm for a good 4 streams i thought i would change it up a bit and pick up Kenshi once again. While i have not played Kenshi alot, i do know a bit about the game and got the main mechanics down. Instead of playing a normal game i wanted to mix it up and do an challenge.
Challenge is a we only have one character and its only a lone skeleton against the whole world of Kenshi. Everyone who has played Kenshi know that power in numbers cannot be a better saying for this game. Well... lets throw it out the window and just play as a lone wanderer and see how we fare. To make the fate a lil more generous on us, i did install a few mods just to help with the experience and make it bit more interesting. Main mod is Genmod which adds and changes around alot of stuff in Kenshi and adds a few important buildings also. It also adds character, weapons, location, new creatures etc. so there should be alot to explore.
As you start out in Kenshi, you are nothing, even worthless some can say. Thats where the magic kicks in and you can become the strongest warlord/city owner/merchant known across the whole world of Kenshi. The map is also huge and tons to explore.
Starting scenario is that we are a Skeleton that has allied itself with an group called Tech Hunters. Tech Hunters are people who go around the old and forgotten world of Kenshi and salvage any kind of technology they can find. They also hold a few mayor towns and outposts in the wasteland which our character can use as a resting place and if needed, a place to feel safe. As almost everything outside the city gates wants to kill you, there is not much you can do at the start of the game. You either run or die.
Summary of the stream: In the first stream we focused on getting up basic skills and earning a bit of money. By the end of the stream, while we were still unable to even kill an single man, we got really good at running away from people. We found a town of Flats Lagoon to call our home and even bought property in it to start researching the things we need to survive out there. While the goal of this series is not to huddle up in a nice house and enjoy retirement, it is to amass glory and fame of being the strongest and most ruthless warrior out there. This can be achieved thanks to an mod that allows stats to go up to 500 instead of the vanilla 100. Its will be a long and dreadful road to the 500 skill level, but i believe we can reach it... most importantly survive til then.
