More drama has hit the Overwatch scene between two streamers, Kephrii, and Aimbotzz, both are notable for their widow maker gameplay in the top 500 region of ranked OW. Here is a quick summary of the whole ordeal. Kepri, and aimbottz were put on the same team in a ranked match, Aimbotz was named Meltdown, and Kephrii did not know it was actually him. A player on the enemy team dm’d kephrii during the game and told Keprii that this ‘meltdown’ player might be hacking. Kephrii wrote in the teamchat asking this meltdown player, weather or not the enemy player should be suspicious of him. Keprii was met with no reply. After a completely crazy 4k entry from ‘meltdown’, keprii began to suspect that maybe the accusations might true. To test out a bit further he dm’d the enemy player that had messaged him earler and told him to grapple up top over the archway in volskya to see if he indeed had walls or not. Aimbottz was already aiming at the angle, so the this test wasn’t super convincing as he fired the bullet. Because of possible hacking Keprii suggested calling a draw just in case, and told the other players to report meltdown just in case. Throughout the ordeal aimbotzz never really defended himself, and made no effort to allude that he was not a hacker. After the fact the two streamers dm’d each other, in which then it was disovered that aimbotzz was playing off stream, and recording for a YT video. Keprii requested in the dm’s that aimbotzz NOT paint him as accusing him of hacking, and that he didn’t want to deal with any of that negativity or drama. The following day Aimbotzz uploaded a clickbaity video titled KEPRII REPORTS ME AND DRAWS GAME, with some of the in game chat in the thumbnail. Keprii got large backlash that was unclarrified by Aimbotzz and thus causing a feeling of betrayal. Because of this inaccurate portrayal keprii copyright claimed Aimbotzz video and had YT take it down, in which Aimbotzz reuploaded it without Kepri’s name attached. Keprri made a video responding to this, and going through exactly what happened, and how it’s just not an accurate statement that he was calling him a hacker, and had him reported. Aimbotzz replied to this in a twit longer, and suggests that keprri doesn’t reveal the whole ordeal, and states that ‘Keprii was BMing him in chat, and voice chat’ He clears the click baity titled by saying he never said keprii had accused him of hacking, and that it wasn’t his intention. Aimbotzz also speaks on the matter than Keprii was the one who initiated the ‘mass report’ only because technically 1 player had said he was suspicious.

That’s pretty much the story, but overall it comes down to a lack of communication in the moment, and an unnecessary title/thumbnail that should have been removed, and retitled if Aimbotzz really had no malicious intent from the beginning, it’s also a bit childish to reupload the video, but at the same time maybe kephrii should not have taken matters into his own hands during the game, or danced/emoted. It’s truly is a cluster of complicated events that lead to this, but on second look I find keprii’s case a lot more convincing that Aimbotzz half baked twitlonger.
