I wanted to use the new KSP parts, so for the Stock Universe ... USAC presents: "The Fantastic Comet", Kerbin's most fantastically beautiful Mach 3.85 airliner. The aircraft can carry 22 passengers and their luggage, boarding them through its front nose door. Going east at a cruising speed of Mach 3.5 with a service ceiling of 21,000 m and a fuel burn rate of 0.5 to 0.48, "El Cometa Fantastico" managed to cover a distance of 3,630 km, landing with 80 units of reserve fuel (1,840 total). Perhaps, flying it better, the airplane can go around Kerbin and land gliding in the Kerbal Space Center. However, considering the furthest place in Kerbin does not exceed 1,900 km, "El Cometa Fantastico" can land at any of your favorite airports in just minutes, no matter if it is a large or small runway; using the "elevon assist "(AG8) can land with its nose pointing up at low speeds (70 m/s) and use its airbrakes and drogue parachute to stop quickly. "El Cometa Fantastico" has also been tested performing successful emergency water landings, without the risk of drowning passengers, since the seats' level is above the water level.
