Kerbal Space Program. DOLFUSE: Double-lobe fuselage composite airplane (Boeing B838)
#kerbal #kerbalspaceprogram #boeing
I built this plane and made this video inspired by the Boeing 838-200 that David Starling (dsair) created for X-Plane 9, which is based on Boeing patent US4674712A. I hope you like it.

The Kairbine "Dolfuse" (a pun of Double-Lobe Fuselage Composite Airplane) was a canceled project of a composite material airliner that had a high aspect-ratio wing and a horizontal double-lobe fuselage cross-section for cargo and/or passenger accommodations. The fuselage comprised a double-lobe shell of contoured honeycomb core composite panels and an interior vertical plane centerline web forming a divider between the lobes.
