I finally did it! it has taken me 3 years to get this platinum, since the launch of the enhanced edition. so laythe was the last planet i needed to get platinum, the trophy for laythe is "the sapphire of jool".
which requires you to bring a kerbal to the planet and then back to kerbin. the ship design i made worked pretty well. this mission required at least two refuelings, one around kerbin, and then refueling again around pol before heading to laythe.

could this have been done without refueling and having a miner around pol? maybe, but im not good enough for messing around with that many gravity assists. i also had to internationally rotate and flip the ship whiling going down to laythe, cause if i didn't i would crashed into laythe at 500m/s
