The challenge is to start with all rocket engines pointing straight up, and still get to the Mun, or, another planets moon. Sepatrons and RCS are exempt from this rule.

So none of these actually complete the challenge, they just demonstrate a variety of ways to launch within the constraints of the rules. However, several of these put upper stages into orbit which will satisfy hard mode.... it's just a matter of flying them to the target and back. Something I've done dozens of times, so it's not that interesting.
