Therefore, the quality of cloud computing platforms, including availability, reliability, performance, efficiency, security, sustainability, etc., has become immensely important. Join Microsoft Distinguished Scientist Dongmei Zhang, from the Data, Knowledge, and Intelligence (DKI) Group at Microsoft Research Asia, to learn about an emerging research direction, “cloud intelligence,” that leverages AI/ML technologies to design, build and operate large-scale cloud computing systems at scale. This session will introduce the concept and research landscape of cloud intelligence and present example projects and their impact in practice. The research challenges and opportunities of cloud intelligence will also be discussed.
