Apparently, the story of Kingdom hearts 3 in Toy Story is canon to the film's universe. Thing is, Nomura's quote was translated more than once, the first making it seem like it's not canon in my opinion. As for the other quotes, it seems that Toy Story's story in KH3 is canon.

Nomura also discussed the cutscene with Ansem and Xemnas, hinting towrds the return of Roxas. Maleficent and Pete will be doing their own thing and will not be involved with Organization 13 whatsoever.

Big Hero 6 apparently is the last world chosen, making it seem like the chances of Zootopia and Moana appearing will be low. It also seems that the number of Disney worlds will be reduced, it could imply that more original worlds will appear.

Sephiroth will most likely not be a secret boss, Square Enix feels like the character has been in enough battles already.

Nomura also thinks it would be cool to have The White Queen from Disney's live action Alice In Wonderland, he didn't mention Kingdom Hearts 3, but this might get people curious.

There will be a Kingdom Hearts fan event at Japan's D23 Expo in February 2017. Will this event be similar to Final Fantasy 15 Uncovered?
