In a recent interview with Tetsuya Nomura, it was explained that a Nintendo Switch version is possible, but would release after the launch.

Nomura also discussed the possibility of multiple playable characters, one of which might be Riku, it's easily assumed. Kairi in my opinion might also be playable due what she said during the Orchestra Concert in Japan. She is training along with Lea.

Gummi Ship missions will return, but will be different from Kingdom Hearts 2's. Toy Story figures of Sora, Donald and Goofy have been confirmed, although without a release date. These figures will be part of the Bring Arts Line confirmed by Square Enix.
