Developed and to be published by Iction Games, John Mambo is a 2D action detailed pixel frenetic retro arcade game, with an isometric top down view. John Mambo is also based on the era of the arcade machines and 16-bit consoles of the 90's, but taking advantage of modern control mechanics and graphics engines. John Mambo is inspired by retro classics like Ikari Warriors, Commando, Mercs and Cannon Fodder.

Meet John Mambo, The one man army, nobody in the allied army trusts John Mambo & John Mambo does not care! He knows his mission & is crazy enough to embark on a dangerous mission in the heart of a jungle all by himself... or with his co-op partner! The Colonel will send you on various missions, both funny and dangerous. The outcome of those missions depends on you, Explore various landscapes, infiltrate enemy bases & neutralize the enemy, cross cities occupied by the enemy and more!
RELEASE DATE:
The game is estimated to be launch around December of next year (2018) for PC, Mac, Linux, Steam, PS4, & Nintendo Switch!

It's always more fun if a pal can help you out. There is a cooperative mode so you can play with your friends! A second soldier will be able to accompany you in such difficult tasks but be aware, friendly fire and the decisions you both make will affect the course of the mission... and maybe even your friendship? We all know how much you love high scores!
- DECISION MAKING/ALTERNATIVE PATHS:
You're on the battlefield, you have to make decisions. Alternative paths are available and the doubt arises ... What to do? Where to go? John Mambo isn't a linear game, your decisions will directly affect the state of the mission. Complex maps and several possible routes provide a scout factor that will present hours of gameplay before finding the optimal path.
-WEAPONS & POWER UPS:
John Mambo is full of guns. Just the way you like it! A rifle, a grenade launcher, TNT, a knife and a bow are your favorite tools. Each one with its own characteristics, reaching distance and level of damage. Depending on the objective you can choose which weapon to use for greater effectiveness. Did you ever have to kill an enemy with a chicken?
A lot of environment within the missions can be destroyed if you want to. Explosions, screams, and blood will become a part of your daily routine. Yeah... you know you want to!
Every hero needs help from time to time and that is why there are different power-ups scattered throughout the maps. They offer valuable improvements, either to John’s particular skills or to the weapon that is currently active.
