Kickstarter Vs Gamefound Vs Backerkit: Comparing Crowdfunding Platforms
#LiegeOfGames #boardgames
We've got 3 big crowdfunding platforms now!!!! Yes!! Finally!!..Competition is really going to be great for the hobby!!
But wait. Does that really help me as much as I'd like to think as a consumer? Backerkit! Gamefound! Kickstarter!
Crowdfunding is popular. Crowdfunding weirdly enough is also turning somewhat...divisive? Strong opinions about the use of different crowdfunding platforms and who's right/better/etc. But as a CONSUMER and backer, does it REALLY matter? I mean, at the end of the day, how much should you really be concerned over the fees, aesthetics, and page features on a campaign page. Pros, cons, and differences. Let's go (and hopefully not screwing up too many of the weird fees explanations along the way).
Thanks for watching!
