Killing Floor 2: Level 0 Horzine Weekly Outbreak: "Bobble Zed" Challenge
This weeks outbreak is featuring Bobble Zed. Bobble Zed increases the head size drastically resulting in increased head health and a bigger hit box. They scaled down the number of zeds in this mode. Their numbers are halved but it's to do with their head health. For what it is, this weekly had a fun idea and a simple catch. Many find this boring but I really enjoyed this especially this run. It will go down as my favourite outbreak out of all of them thus far. The same rules from the last outbreaks still apply.
Weekly Outbreak: "Bobble Zed" - ...that must hurt their hecks.
My Rules:
Perk must be at 0.
Must never heal at all.
Kevlar has a one time use, you can't repair or buy new
Sharpshooter/Gunslinger Weapons Only.
For me, this weekly felt like a breeze challenging but fun at the same time a good mix that I like. I could of made it harder, no doubt but since zeds have insane amounts of head health I wanted to keep the gameplay fast placed to prevent the waves from dragging out. At first, I wanted to do this with SWAT or Commando but every time I ran it, I'd always run out of ammo before I could finish off the last few zeds. The weapons just had no power against their heads. It was essentially just a bullet sponge. And waiting for ammo to spawn was not an option that I wanted to take. It would of been a different story if I was Level 25 but even that would be a slaughter it wouldn't be a proper challenge if I had decided to do so. I chose Sharp/Gunslinger Weapons for their power alone to get the job done. It seemed like the only way to speed things along without too much delay. For the map, I went with Biotics Lab a bland choice but I didn't want to risk playing another custom map that would have had issues when playing. I tried looking for a map on the workshop without resorting to the vanilla maps but none really peeked my interest or were that good for this challenge. For boss wave, I kept things simple again. Another Rail Gun takedown but doing a healless run is always going to be a drag toward the boss. It's the fastest most effective takedown method for Level 0 or a heal less run. Hopefully will make up for the last boss fight on Tiny Terror. Enjoy the run!
