Killing Floor 2: HoE Tragic Kingdom Ring Holdout Commando Challenge w/Hans
As much as I don't like uploading maps I've completed recently, Tragic Kingdom had me coming back one more time and that's mainly to do with the ring aimed at the center of the map. When I first played the map I always wondered if it was possible to holdout all throughout the waves until the end. The challenge was first requested and beaten by One Man Gaming originally dubbed the Smash TV Challenge. He then sent it over to me to attempt it with a shooting class. I gladly accepted and completed it. I used the mod Controlled Difficulty made by blackout for the run. Now for those of you that don't what the mod does, it simply controls and customizes aspects of the game whether it be, setting the spawn rate on zeds or the max amount of live zeds, adding faked players etc. It's a great mod if you want to increase the difficulty when the vanilla game doesn't offer much.

Rules:
Difficulty: HoE; Game Length: Medium/Long
Hold out in the ring all game [But does not include trader time]
Can be done with any perk
Now as for the challenge it self, I wanted to try out the buffs on the SCAR and the Stoner63. The SCAR got a 10% damage increase with the Stoner63 getting a 20% damage increase. The SCAR was already a strong tier 4 but the buff makes the gun even more practical to use now. For the Stoner63 the weapon is more viable and functions as a tier 4 like it should compared to before it needed a buff more then anything. All around a great change for the commando. For the run, when I had first attempted it without Controlled Difficulty it didn't seem all that hard. There weren't enough zeds that spawned on the map, no matter how bad the situation got, you could crowd control the zeds without much effort. After completing it the first time I wasn't satisfied with the run and I knew it can be better. I used Controlled Difficulty for the run instead. I tweaked only the max zeds which was at 32 compared to the vanilla game which is 16 and set a spawn rate of 0 which spawns zeds the second they die giving no breathing room. I'd say the worst part about this challenge were the gorefiends and nothing else. Enjoy the video.
