Killzone: Shadow Fall is developed by Guerrilla Games (Horizon Zero Dawn) and was released in 2013, it was one of the launch games for the ps4 and has aged quite well. The plot takes place thirty years after the events of Killzone 3. The planet Helgan, after the second extrasolar war is now reduced to a heap of barren ruins. The ISAs allow the surviving Helgasts to take refuge on one half of the planet Vekta, separated on the other side by an imposing wall hundreds of meters high that runs all over the planet in a direction perpendicular to the equator.
The protagonist that we will play during the killzone shadow fall gameplay no commentary is Lucas Kellan, who, in 2370 (years after the creation of the wall), at the age of five, witnessed the killing of his father by the Helgasts during their escape from New Helgan (half of Vekta assigned to Helgasts). The Shadow Marshall Sinclair intervenes to save him and he decides to take him under his wing.
