Kiln Textures | MCreator Lore | Ep32
23Welcome back to another Friday video for MCreator Lore. Today I will be starting to make a Kiln multi-structure crafting station that uses block layers to craft. This was a suggestion by @karryy02, Huge thanks for the suggestion and idea.
We will be working on the textures today for the block. I want to make sure that players can easily get in and out of the structure so that placing or removing blocks in the tank can be easily done.
The main idea is to use a 3-layer system that then relays the recipe to the main kiln block if the layers are in the correct order. Doing this 9 times can create a recipe which then sets an item in the output slot. Removing the item in the output slot will then remove the blocks in the tank.
I will also be making it use JSON files so anyone can add their own recipes even mods using File Manger can insert new recipes to the config file.
I have been working on the mechanics in a separate workspace in hopes of simplifying it for next week's video. We may end up using the existing script to save a bit of time as there are lots of things to make this work. I will do my best next week to cover how things work.
