Kinetica is a pretty good, early futuristic racing game along with titles like Extreme G III (XGIII) and Wipeout Fusion, developed by SCE Santa Monica Studios. The goal of the game is to use one of nine racers armed with provocative "Kinetic Suits" with wheels attached to the driver's arms and legs, making many of them resemble motorcycles or ultra-sleek cars, to win races in order to establish who is the best. The game features fifteen tracks complete with various shortcuts and secrets, as well as a largely House/Techo/Trance soundtrack.

The goal to doing good in the game is by pulling off tricks to gain boost power and by grabbing various item pick-ups which give you several beneficial abilities such as having unlimited boost, more powerful boosts, the ability to temporarily pull off faster tricks, etc. The game moves at a fast pace, though there is some slowdown from time to time. It's not particularly impressive in the audio/visual department and does have some wierd pop-up or graphics glitches from time to time, but it's fun and challenging enough while it lasts.
