"The Great Circus Mystery Starring Mickey & Minnie" is the second game in a great three-part series (known in Japan as Disney's "Magical Quest") which was released for SNES, Gen/MD and GBA, and developed by Capcom. New additions to the game include the ability to play with both Mickey & Minnie simultaneously and use passwords to continue from where you left off. This is a video of the Genesis port.

In the game, Mickey and Minnie want to go to the circus and meet up with their friends to have fun, but are puzzled when they only see a saddened Goofy, who states that the circus is ruined. The tents were hijacked and everything is topsy-turvy, which drew everyone away. Mickey and Minnie decide to investigate, which jump-starts the adventure.

The game is a simple but well-designed platformer similar to its predecessor and sequel. Mickey/Minnie can jump on enemies as well as knock some enemies unconscious, who can then be picked up and thrown as a means of attacking. Over the course of the game, you'll also acquire different suits that have different uses, which can also be upgraded to an extent at shops. Different enemies can be defeated with different strategies, and the game has a simple on-going plot with good audio/visuals. It's stated by some that the game isn't as good as MQ1 or MQ3, but it's a fun game in its own right.
