King Boo's Revenge: The Final Challenge - Red Coins
0King Boo's Revenge is done! Overall, I definitely enjoyed this hack, although it definitely had its blemishes. In general, this hack had more bad than good stages, but considering that this was Bloody's first hack, it's still really impressive, especially since he has made 2 other hacks which are both regarded as some of the best kaizo hacks in the community. My favourite stages were VC, C3 C10, and my least favourite were easily C5, C13 and C14, and most other stages were kind of mid. I wouldn't recommend this hack if you're starting out, but it's definitely a worthwhile playthrough when you're experienced enough to not struggle with the bad stuff too much.
The star itself went amazingly, I actually managed to get it on my second attempt past the first coin ever! Even though I ended up dying to the boxes (the only jump needed to enter the pipe after collecting the star) which made me redo the entire climb, I managed to get it in about one and a half hours. Although this stage definitely wasn't bad at all, I can't say that I liked it as much as most other people. The gameplay is fun, but it just didn't click with me for some reason. It also felt weird for it to have an entire path which is only used for 2 red coins which you, however, can skip as you only have to collect 8 out of the 11 coins this stage contains. I still liked this star quite a bit though, and if Bloody's other hacks are truly as much better as most people seem to say, I'm really looking foreward to playing them someday!
