The Red Arrows and their French air force counterparts have treated King Charles and Queen Camilla to a flypast as the royal couple arrived in Paris at the start of a three-day state visit.

Charles and Camilla landed at Paris's Orly Airport before heading to the Arc de Triomphe, where they paid tribute to the French and British soldiers who were lost during the two world wars at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.

The royal pair, who were welcomed by a guard of honour from the French Army, watched the Red Arrows fly over the capital along with French aerobatic display team Patrouille de France.
