Normal Leona can turn into Orochi Leona during gameplay in this game. This makes Orochi Leona a semi-regular immediately playable character.
NOTE: Max gauge used in this playthrough and 1 Continue cut out to save time and reduce video file size.
===== HOW TO TURN INTO OROCHI LEONA =====
When using normal Leona in gameplay and you have more than 50% of life, input the following command to do it:
Up, Down, Up, Down, Up, Down + LK + HK
You can do this without needing any stocks nor MAX mode. However, it will cost you 50% of life - meaning that you won't be able to do this if you have less than 50% life.

===== ABOUT 2002 OROCHI LEONA =====
Lore-wise, she is the awakened state of the Orochi blood (Riot Of The Blood), which makes her more powerful and also become crazy as a result.
Aesthetically it gives her different colour palettes and some different animations/sprites.
Gameplay-wise, it gives her super speed walking/running and low velocity fast jumps, and also access to her HSDM. However, she loses the DM version of the Rebel Spark.
===== OTHER INFORMATION / TRIVIA =====
---- Normal Leona does not have a HSDM, only Orochi Leona does. Thus meaning that you need to turn into Orochi Leona to have access to the character's HSDM.
---- Normal Leona can only use the DM version of Rebel Spark, while Orochi Leona can only use the HSDM version of the Rebel Spark.
---- Before the production of KOF96 (her debut game), the developers wanted to create a replacement for Heidern, who previously appeared in '94 and '95.
---- She was named as "Wild Leona" in earlier English translations for the KOF games.
---- Her official nickname is The Silent Soldier.
