I only did this video because I was bored. Another showcase-like video of mine, but this time presenting Naomi in KOFM Level 2. I didn't showcase her moves because almost all of her moves had been showcased in Zelgadis' Naomi demo video. Instead, I demonstrated the combos I came up with Naomi and I also show my one 4v4 play with her (Don't expect me to be good like a real time pro. I'm just a casual gamer =D).

Who the heck is Naomi Kokoro?
A: Naomi Kokoro never came out in ANY real KOF games. She's just an original character created by Zelgadis only for the game he created. Some may notice that her creation was based on Elizabeth from KOF XI-XIII. Overall, her sprites are pretty "unique".

Storywise (according to the translation on the game's storyline created by Zelgadis for this game I read from the information provided along with the game), Naomi and Yukino (the lead character of Zelgadis' MUGEN game KOF Memorial) were good friends. Naomi and his brother (the guy with blonde hair from the very end of the game's true ending) were under training by their parents to serve the Munchausen since the Kokoro family had been serving the Munchausen family for generations while at the same time, Yukino has been raised by Gustav. That's how they ended up being friends. After the whole incident of KOFM Level 2, his brother told her that she must release the seal of her katana. We'll find out, maybe, in KOFM Level 3?

About her gameplay. Here are things that I would like to mention about Naomi:
1. Some of her moves like Flying Katana were based from Saki from the doujin game called Vanguard Princess. Zel mentioned it himself in one of his character demo videos.
2.Her Fying Katana's LP version hits compared to Saki, which it doesn't hit when throwing the katana across the enemy. It is potentially one of the best projectiles in the game due to its juggle capability, turning it to a really good combo starter.
3. Majority of her combo's are pretty easy to pull off and it deals decent damage.
4. Akai Tsuki (The name of one of her ultimare DMs named by Zelgadis according to mugenimperiolatino forums) can only be performed when your health is at "danger", meaning you have to have 25% or less health. The command for the move is LP, LP, qcf + C (x, x, qcf + C). I won't recommend using this move that's because YOU SHOULDN'T TRY TAKING HITS FROM YOU OPPONENT ON PURPOSE AT ALL. After all, at 25% health, you're not even sure if you'll be able to land the Ultimate DM at your opponent that time. And if Murphy's Law screws you up with that health, you may lose that round. It maybe a good match changer but you should rely more on DMs that are provided and usable at the beginning of the match.

Personally, Naomi became one of the fun characters I play as for KOFM Level 2.

At the combo demonstration part, the BGM I used is played when fighting Iori's team in arcade mode. Can anyone tell me the real name of the music since I only got it in KOFM Level 2 soundtrack? Thanks.

UPDATE: The OST used for Iori team for this MUGEN game came from the anime Needless. OST name is Chasing Truth.
