King of Fighters Memorial Level 2: Kyo Kusanagi (Trying out Kyo)
I only did this because I'm bored. I want to try something new besides just uploading only boss fights for KOFM LV2. Sorry for the quality since this is my first time trying to make a video like this using Windows Movie Maker and trying the latest version of Fraps.
This is my very first showcase for KOFM LV2. As you can see, I'm testing out this Kyo in KOFM LV2. Here are some of my opinions about this Kyo (feel free to agree and disagree on it):
1. He have some moves that's never seen in any of his original KOF games.
2. His double kick is now hcf + K instead of the usual qcf + K (I know it feels retarded but oh well).
3. After that double kick juggle, you can't hit them while juggled with aragami anymore (I don't know if this ever happened to him in actual KOF games or not).
4. Compared from KyoMI from KOFM 1.0, his dokugami chain is not as strong as his KOFM 1.0 anymore.
5. His Ultimate DM can only be accessed by having 50 percent or less of his health. He doesn't have any Ultimate DM that can be used at any amount of health just like majority of the characters.
About performing combos in this game, trying to perform a bigtime maniac combo seems to be not worth performing.
Zel, if you're watching this, I hope you put the continuous juggle (of course with juggle limits) back in you next KOFM project just like the usual KOF game does so we have room for making better and powerful combos so every character in the game can put ALL their moves to use (some character's moves are just plain useless like certain projectiles). Would be cool too if you add up that certain power up mode that allows you to chain special moves for the duration of the mode just like what SVC Chaos, KOF2000(UM), and KOF XIII has for your next KOFM project XP.
In terms of my rankings about which Kyo is better in KOFM series, here are my rankings (This is my opinion so feel free to agree/disagree on this one):
1. KyoMI (KOFM 1.0)- dokugami - orochinagi Hell Yeah!! Plus his Ultimate DMs are some of the most damaging Ultimate DMs in that game. Bad thing is that most of his DM have to be used straight for its true potential's damage (doing a combo w/ DMs only result lower overall damage compared to straight hit with certain DMs)..
2. Kyo (KOFM LV2)- This Kyo is okay. He's decent. Only has 2 problems (mentioned above) and that's about it. Good comboability that performing certain DMs in the combo yields a much better overall damage as well. Also, as I assumed, he only has one Ultimate DM that can only be used at 50 percent or less of health. This can make him use dreamcancels more often if health is not that low (which is a good thing that makes most of his moves pretty worth using).
3. Kyo (Kyo KOFM SP)- His play style is just awkward. His damage output is simply low and it feels like I'm not playing the usual Kyo that I used to play in actual KOF games XP. At least this Kyo is pretty unique compared to the Kyos we usually seen right?

Feel free to send me your opinions about it and advices about how should I improve it =D. Video Responses would be nice as well ;)
UPDATE 07/23/12: I've now seen couple of videos demonstrating Kyo's Ultimate DM identical to his KOF2002/UM HSDM. I don't want to put the command yet on my guide because I'm not sure what is the exact command for it (can't test it out for now due to KOFM issues w/ my antivirus. Don't know how to disable it temporarily sadly). I might have to add the move once I've confirmed it when Zelgadis release his KOFM Level 2 6.0 patch. I hope that the controls are much smoother on his next patch.
UPDATE: I've already seen his 2002UM HSDM move from other KOFM vids =. Problem about the move is that performing the move feels so stiff in my case (or maybe I'm doing it wrong cause I've been doing the hcb, hcb + C).
