Important: This quest is highly missable as it can only be started during A Needle in a Haystack.
0:33 From dormitory to cellar
0:50 Conversation with Circators
2:33 Torch
2:44 Lockpick
3:02 Monastery keys
3:35 From church to wine cellar
4:20 Delivering the cask
Given by: Circator Stibor
Location: Sasau Monastery
During: A Needle in a Haystack
Items needed: Torch, Lockpick or Monastery keys
There are actually three ways to start the quest:
- Walk in on the Circators drinking at night
- Head down to the cellar during the day
- Get locked up in the cellar after breaking a rule
Just starting the quest will satisfy the Cleric's Pet objective. Completing the quest can be done quickly, though, and will increase your reputation inside the Monastery.
Go to bed when prompted and sleep till midnight. Head down to the cellar (below the dormitory) to find the Circators drinking. Join them by sitting down at their table. Choose the following lines:
- What are you doing here?
- I wouldn't want to offend.
- What's Jodok got to do with you?
- Where do you get the wine from?
- I'll help you.
- (End dialog)
From here, you can complete the quest as intended, or you can get the wine without anyone's help. You can do this by heading to the church, picking up a torch from one of the cabinets (if you don't already have one), and then either using the lockpick laying on top of the altar (behind the triptych) or the Monastery keys to open one of the very hard lock doors.
The keys can be found on top of a shelf in the pantry, three doors past the dining hall.
Leave the monastery and head to the Custodian's cellar to pick up the cask of wine in the corner. Placing it on the Circators' table will complete the quest.
